Hoofers and the Gospel
Barn will present a big gospel
and bluegrass concert on
Friday and Saturday night,
January 21 and 22 at the Gospel
Barn located on the
Hogansville Road in LaGrange.
On Friday night, the
Primitives Quartet along with
the Issacs, the Bishops, Doyle
Lawson and Quick Silver and
New Horizon will perform.
On Saturday evening, the
award winning Crabb Family,
the Dove Brothers, Brian Free
and Assurance along with
LaGrange's own Christianairs
will be on tap.
Special guest on Saturday
night will be Ronnie Hinson
who has written many award
winning songs such as the
Lighthouse and He Pilots My
Ship.
The concerts will began
each night at 7 p.m.
Hoofers Restaurant will be
opened during and prior to each
concert serving great food
including steaks and seafood.
A snack bar as always will
be open for your convenience.

CLERICAL POSITION
The City of HogansviUe is currently accepting applications for a
clerical position in the natural gas department. This individual is
responsible for all record keeping of both federal and state
requirements pertaining to natural gas, The successful applicant
must be at least a high school graduate or received a G.E.D..
The successful applicant must also submit to pre-employment and
random drug testing as required by'federal natural gas regulations.
Interested persons may pick up an application at the
Hogansville City Hall Monday through Friday between
9:00 a.m and 5:00 p.m..
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Comments of"I can't believe
it" and "this can't be the same
building" were commonly
heard throughout the evening.
Parents were thrilled to see
the state of the art facilities that
will take their children to new
heights in learning.
If you did not have the
opportunity to visit the school
yet, feel free to come by and
ask for a tour.
The $2.4 million face lift is
being funded through the
Special Local Option Sales Tax.
Hogansville Elementary
finally got to showcase their
beautiful, newly renovated
facilities during their open
house held on January 6.
Originally built as a high
school, buildings dating back to
the 1950's were completely gut-
ted and rebuilt.
Only the walls, floors, and
roofs were left intact.
A completely new infra-
structure was installed, giving
the school the appearance of
being brand new on the inside.
