Mrs. Louise Terrell
July 16, 1924 - January 8, 2003
Mrs. Louise Haynes TerreU, 78, of LaGrange, died January
8th at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funer-
al service was conducted January 1Oth in the Chapel of the
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
The Reverend Billy McCollough and the Reverend Jimmy
McMillian officiated and interment was in Myrtle Hill
Cemetery in Hogansville.
Pallbearers were Mark Pullen, Danny Pullen, Allen
Terrell, Johnny Terrell, Run Terrell and Perry Terrell.
Mrs. Terrell was born July 16, 1924 in Standing Rock,
Alabama, daughter of the late Jesse and Myrtle Lanier
Haynes. She lived ifi LaGrange most of her life, was a mem-
ber of the Baptist church, and was the wife of the late William
C. Terrell, Sr.
Survivors include five daughters, Betty Sue Patterson
of Woodland, Ala., Sandra Lynn Sutton of Whitesburg, Toni
Brown of Hogansville, Pam Cue of LaGrange, and Patricia
Jo Prestridge of Newell, Ala.; three sons, Randall Terrell of
Franklin, David Terrell of West Point, and Samuel Terrell of
LaGrange; two sisters, Doris Sellers and Patricia Carlisle,
both of LaGrange; one brother, Jesse Lee Haynes, Jr. of
Birmingham, AIM.; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchil-
dren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre-
ceded in death by a son, William C. TerreU, Jr.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of
HogansviUe was in charge of arrangements.
Robert Wane Yarbrough
January 6, 2003
Robert Wayne Yarbrough, 61, of Mansfield, died January
6th at his residence. Funeral services were held January
lOth at the New Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Mansfield
with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Harold Willis and
Rev. Randall Reese officiated.
Serving as pallbearers were Paul Mulkey, David
Alavarado, Jeff Hauck, Rob Hauck, Dale Browder and Jeremy
Cunningb_am.
Mr. Yarbrough was a native of Hogansville and moved
to Jasper County four months ago. His parents were the late
Robert Linwood Yarbrough and Rachel Nell Reid Yarbrough.
He had just joined the New Rocky Creek Baptist Church and
was a former member and deacon of the First Baptist Church
of Hogansville. He was a member of the Rex Masonic Lodge
#251 at Ellenwood and served as Master Mason 32nd degree.
He was a member of the LaGrange Shriner's Club. Mr.
Yarbrough retired from Eastern Air Lines as a ramp serv-
iceman and as a sergeant from the U.S. Army Reserves in
which he was a crew chief with the 145th Medica Detachment
Helicopter Unit. He was a truck driver and maintenance
technician at Genco Industry. His sister, Ellen Hauck pre-
ceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Elaine Kelley
Yarbrough of Mansfield; children, Robert and Dianna Lee
Yarbrough of Mansfield and John D. Yarbrough of
Stockbridge; grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Cunningham,
Meriah Brittney Yarbrough, Anthony James Yarbrough,
Kathryn Nichole Yarbrough, Joshua Duncan Yarbrough and
Richard Alhric Yarbrough; great-grandchild, Camron Allan
Cunningham; and brothers, Reid Yarbrough of Oxford and
William Joel Yarbrough of Hogansville.

Creek Baptist Church, 190 Rocky Creek Rd., Mansfield, GA
30055 or the Awanas for the First Baptist Church of
Hogansville, S00 E. Main St., Hogansville, GA 30230.
Jordan Funeral Home of Monticello was in charge of
arrangements.
Mrs. Carolyn V. Noland
May 1, 1924 - January 6, 2003
Mrs. Caroly n Virginia Noland, 78, of Fayetteville, died
January 6th. Funeral services were held at Jefferson Avenue
Baptist Church in East Point on January 8th with burial at
College Park Cemetery. Rev. Darwin Caldwell and Rev.
Clarence Jett officiated.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, 'Ferry and
Diane Noland of Novi, Michigan; one daughter, Kathy Noland
of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Scott Noland and Jennifer
No!and; one brother, Fred and Charlene Newman of
Hogansville; nieces and nephews. Her husband, Wylie
Mitchell Noland preceded her in death.
Donations in memory of Mrs. Noland may be made to
Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, 1150 Jefferson Avenue,
East Point, GA 30344.
Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home of Fayetteville was
in charge of arrangements.

Gospel Music On Tap

The first big singingofthe 2003 at Hoofer's Gospel
barn is scheduled for this weekend.
On Thursday evening, the Issacs and NewFound
Road will light up the barn with the best in bluegrass
gospel.
On Friday evening, world renown Doyle Lawson
& Quicksilver will be on hand along with the Primitive
Quartet and Nothing Fancy.
Saturday evening will be the big concert you
won't want to miss.
The third annual Jessie Lipham Memorial Singing
will feature the Dove brothers, Georgia Melody Boys,
the Gary Waldrep Band and the Galloways.
All shows begin at 7 p.m.
Hoofer's Restaurant will be open during each
concert and a concession is also open with good ham-
burgers and chicken strips.
The Gospel Barn is located at 3472 Hogansville
Road in LaGrange.

Department will be conducting routine semi-annual
flushing of fire hydrants on Wednesday, January 22,
2003 from 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Flushing is neces-
sary for upkeep of the distribution system and may
result in discoloration of your tap water for a brief
period. Please refrain from clothes-washing during
this period if at all possible. The City of Hogansville
