McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of ' Eulise B. Reeves October 7, 1938 January 26, 2000 Carrollton - Mrs. Eulise Brown Reeves, 61, of Carrollton, died January 26 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. The funeral service was conducted January 29 in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Billy Ball officiated and inter- ment was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Pallbearers were Lee Woodruff, Jr., Ricky Reeves, Jr., Jeff Boynton, Doug Pitts, Michael Ball, and Barry Chapman. Mrs. Reeves was born October 7, 1938 in Meriwether County, daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie Kierbow Brown. She was a former resident of Hogansville and had lived in Carrollton forthepast twenty years. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Beth Reeves Of Moreland, Andrew and Elizabeth Reeves of Temple, and Kerry Reeves and Violet Herb of Carrollton; two brothers, Jack Brown of Newnan and Claude Brown of Whitesburg; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchil- dren. The Claude A. McKib]en and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements. Lucille P. Friend September 26, 1919 - January 30, 2000 Mrs. Lucille Pritchard Friend, 80, of Hogansville, died January 30 at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service was conducted February1 in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Wesley Boatman officiated and interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany. Mrs. Friend was born September 26, 1919 in Worth County, daughter of the late William and Lenny Barry Pritchard. She lived in Albany before rnakingher home in Hogansville in 1975 and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville. She was the wife of the late Joseph Edward Friend, who was a former police chief of Newnan and was serving as police chief of Albany at the time of his death in 1974. Mrs. Friend ws preceded in'death by a son, Robert Friend, and a dadter, Lynelle Friend. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lea Friend Lacy of Valdosta; one son. Edward H. Friend, Sr. of Hogansville; and four grandchildren, Edward H. Friend, Jr. of Warm Springs, Mrs. Debra Reynolds of Newnan, Michael Friend of Hogansville, and Mrs. Shawn Pagelow of Albany. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements. Annie C. McCann October 12, 1920 - January 30, 2000 Lone Oak Community - Mrs. Annie Calhoun McCann, 79, of the Lone Oak Community of Meriwether County, died January 30 at the home of her son in LaGrange. Funeral services were conducted February I in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Carl Calhoun officiated and interment was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Pallbearers were Tommy McCann, Timmy McCann, Terry McCann, Tony McCann, Charles Kee, and Danny Murray. Mrs. McCann was born October 12, 1920 in Coweta County, daughter of the late Graver and Leila Moore Calhoun. She lived in Meriwether County most of her life and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in the Primrose Community. She retired from Judy Lynn Corporation in Greenville and was preceded in death by a son, Charlie McCann. Survivors include her husband, Ferrell T. McCann of Lone Oak; one son, Thomas McCann of LaGrange; four sisters, Mrs.. Lucy Crews and Mrs. Mildred Bishop, both of Newnan, Mrs. Margaret Bishop of Luthersville, and Mrs. Josie Mac Barber of GrantviUe; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. The Claude A.
