PROMOTING TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Lenn Chandler, representing the
Meriwether County Chamber of
Commerce, was the guest speaker at a
recent meeiing of the Kiwanis Club of
Manchester. Chandler brought the local
Kiwanians up to date on the need for a
technical school in the county and the
progress so far towards achieving that
goal. The facility would be across from
Greenville High School and cost to build
is one million dollars. Chandler, right, is
shown with Herman Ward, Kiwanis pres-

medicine with no bad side
effects. There's a definite
relationship between
emotional contentment
and good physical health.
A happy and cheerful out-
look on life does have
therapeutic value. True
happiness and joy result
from a relationship with
God and our fellow man.
Galatians 5:22 tells us
that joy is a result of the
Holy Spirit's work in our
lives, and we must live
under His control to expe-
rience it. So be happy -
it's good medicine!
