Following the devotion by Julia Wilson, a fifth grader, and invocation by Charles Wilson, a third grader, both of Rosemont Elementary School, a covered dish dinner was served. Parents of the students are Derrick and Alison Wilson of the Big Springs Community. Hostesses included Alison Wilson, Jackie JoneS, both of Big Springs; and Nancy Newsome, Georgia Shelton and Wanda Costley, all of Mountville. The serving tables were dec- orated with a Presidents' Day theme featuring flags, stars, portraits of two presidents and bouquets of spring flowers arranged by Shelton and Newsome. Whisnant recognized all members celebrating birthdays in February. Fred A. Eide, Jr. November 19, 1951 - February 19, 2001 Hogansville. Fred A. Eide, Jr., 49, of Hogansville, died February at his home. A memorial service was held at the home of his Xents, Fred and Joyce Eide in Peachtree City February 23. Born November 19, 1951 in Portsmouth, Virginia, Mr. Eide ed in St. Maries, Idaho and Peachtree City before making his me in Hogansville one year ago. He was a self-employed car- rater.
