HEROES- On Tuesday, March 16, the Manchester Lions Club met at the Old Nebula House Restaurant. Special guests for the program were West Georgia Wolverines Indoor Wheelchair Soccer Coach Richard Mclntyre, along with players April McPherson and Douglas Johnson and his mother, Carol Davidson. The Wolvednes won the Indoor Wheelchair Soccer Junior 2003 National Championship in San Diego, CA. Donald Daniel of Atlanta, formerly of Grantville, is resting in Shoreham Nursing Home in Atlanta. Last Friday, March 19, Myrtice Daniel of Grantville, was given a birthday dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse in Newnan. A birthday celebration in honor of Minnie E. Freeman of St. Marks on her 96 years, was held at the New St. Paul CME Church in Lone Oak on March 20. Happy anniversary wishes go to Hosea and Kerri Connally on their 13th on March 23 and Timmy and Rachel McGruder on their 16th on March 25. We wish them many more.
