Ashley Denney of
Hogansville has been selected as
Faculty Scholarship recipient
from Young Harris College in
recognition of her academic
achievements throughout high
school. Ashley, a student at lqint
River Academy, will graduate
this spring.
On February 23, Ashley par-
ticipated in Young Harris
College's Recognition Day- A Day
of Celebration, a ceremony to rec-
ognize scholarship recipients for
the 2002-2003 academic year.

District Attorney for the
Northeastern Judicial Circuit of
Georgia, delivered the keynote
speaker's address to the scholars
and their families.
Young Harris College is a pri-
vate liberal arts institution with
a primary focus on the first two
years of a four-year education. It
is located in a resort area in the
northeast Georgia mountains.
The college is affiliated with the
United Methodist Church and has
maintained a tradition of aca-
demic excellence and cultural
awareness since its founding in
1886.
