PAGE 12 HOGANSVmLE HOME NEWS - APRIL 12, 2001 E Several Win Schola slzlps Mandy Aldrich of Hogansville, Mia Allen and Hanna Andrews of LaGrange and Rachel Hollaway of Pine Mountain have been named LaGrange College Cunningham-Traylor Scholars. Aldrich, a senior at Callaway High School, is the daughter of David and Cindy Aldrich. Allen, a senior at L,aGrange High School, is the daughter of Charles and Teresa Allen. Andrews, a senior at IJaGrange High School, is the daughter of Arnold and Regenia Andrews. Hollaway, a senior at Harris County High School, is the daughter of Wayne and Debbie Hollaway. Among LaGrange College&apos;s top enter- ing freshmen, Aldrich, Allen, Andrews and Hollaway will receive a $5,500 scholarship beginning in the fall of 2001 and renew- able for the next three years. Curmingham- qaylor Scholars were selected through a recent Scholar Weekend Competition where students were judged on their per- formance in group discussions, written essays and individual interviews. The scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the late Lettie Cunningham and Mr. and Mrs. L. Henderson Traylor of LaGrange. Anyone donating articles during the month of April, whether it is clothing itemhs or what-nots, to the Hogansville Senior Center will receive a packet of Gain washing powders, a sticker and a but- ton stated Senior Center clothes closet director, Norma Landrum. Easter Egg Hunt Set Saturday The Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the LaGrange Junior Woman's Club, will be held Saturday, April 14 at the Callaway Campus of LaGrange College. Registration is from 10:30-11:30 a.m., cost is $5.00. The egg hunt will begin at 11:30 a.m. A fire truck will be on the scene and will be doing fingerprinting for the chil- dren.
