new items on Grantville Day
seemed like a great way to
work t{}ward all of those
goals."
The new menu selections
include Chicken Fingers,
Baklava (a sweet Greek pas-
try,) Cinnamon Crisps (hot
cinnamon cookies,) and new
variations on Nick's popular
Cheese Stix --- Hot Stix,
Garlic Stix, and Pineapple
Summer Stix. Nick's will
also be ser~'ing an individual
pizza, known as the "Pitza"
for its pita bread crust. The
Pitza has proven very popu-
lal" dm'ing Nick's weekly
F~iday lunch service and will
be added to the dinner menu
on Grantville Day. The
Grantville "Villy" Cheese
Steak Sub, formerly known
as the Philly Cheese Steak,
will also be available, as will
Nick's new Hawaiian Cheese
Steak.
Main Street Merchants
will be provided with "Nick's
Train Treat" coupons for ran-
dom distribution to
Grantville Day patrons. The
coupons can be exchanged
for a free cheese Pitza or
Cinnamon Crisps on
Grantville Day (lunch or din-
ner) ff presented within thir-
ty minutes of the train blow-
ing its whistle as it passes
through Grantvflle.
In support of the
Grantville Day Art
Competition, Nick's will be
awarding an Honorable
Mention prize certificate for
free pizza, and offering dis-
count coupons to all partici-
pating artists. The three
award-winningentrants will
also be offered an opportuni-
ty to display their artwork at
Nick's during the week that
follows Grantville Day. The
competition's coordinator,
Scott Palmer, is responsible
for the unusual murals of his-
