After he gathers his inheritance, he leaves home to find his own pleasures in life. He spent all his money foolishly and humiliated his family name. He found himself penniless and homeless. Out of desperation, the son returned to his father's home expecting to be treated no better than one of the servants. His father's reaction was quite different. When he saw his son approaching, he ran out to meet him. Jesus told this story to illustrate God's undying love for us. When we return to God humbly asking forgiveness, His forgiveness has already begun. Weekly Bible Trivia "But l shall spate a few of them from the , the , and the ..." Sunday Monday Tuesday Wed.
