PAGE 6-A HOGANSVILLE HOME NLWS - THURSDAY, JULY 10, 2003 ; !iiiii;i!il;)( Mrs Gina Dorrough March 6, 1953 - July 4, 2003 Mrs Gina Wheeler Dorrough, 50, of Hogansville, died Friday July 4, 2003, at Hospice LaGrange. A memorial service was conducted at four p.m., Monday July 7, in the Chapel of the Claude A McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Wesley Boatman officiated. Mrs. Dorrough was born March 6, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Hogansville since 1975. She was employed by Carter's in Hogansville and was a mem- ber of the Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Tanya Dorrough of Hogansville; three sons, Brent Dorrough of Portsmith, VA., and Eric Dorrough and Tyler Dingler, both of Hogansville; three brothers, Geoffery Wheeler of Hogansville, David Wheeler of Glendale, Mich., and George A: Wheeler, Jr. Of Germany; and five grandchildren, Jordan Dorrough, Jessica Dourrough, Denver McLaughlin, Brandon Dorrough and Matthew Dorrough. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Sarah M. Beall October 15, 1926 - July 6, 2003 Mrs. Sarah M. Beall, 76, of Hogansville, died Sunday, July 6, 2003, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Mr. Roy Wright officiated and interment was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in HogansviUe. Mrs. Beall was born October 15, 1926, in Clay County, Alabama, daughter of the late E. H. and Eris King Mason. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was a mem- ber of Antioch Baptist Church and was retired from Uniroyal, Inc. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Sarah Clayton of Austell and Jane and Bruce Perdue of Northeast, Penn.; three sons and daughters-in law, Walter and Glenda Graben of Opelika, Ala., Tony and JoAnn Graben of Marble Hill, and Bruce and Pat Graben of Nicholasville, Ken.; two step daugh- ters and a step-son-in-law, Joycie and Bill Brown and Julia Morrow, all of Hogansville; a step-son and his wife, Frank M., Jr. (Buster) and Gall Beall of Norcross; 12 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Melvin Beall, and her brother, Hancel L. Mason. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements. Wayne W. Neighbors March 11, 1922 - June 30, 2003 Wayne W. Neighbors, 80, of Hogansville, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell. The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 3, in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Harold Willis and the Reverend Carl Knowles officiated and interment was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville with Masonic graveside rites. Members of Hogansville Masonic Lodge #93 served as pallbearers. Mr. Neighbors was born March 11, 1922, in Heard County, son of the late Lonnie and Berta Eley Neighbors. A recipient of a Purple Heart for his service in the U.S. Army dur- ing WWII, he had lived in Hogansville since 1925 and retired as a rural mail carrier from the Hogansville Post Office after 37 years of service. He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Hogansville and was a member of Hogansville Masonic Lodge #93. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estelle Neighbors of Hogansville; daughter and son- in-law, Jackie and Michael Villani of Dallas; son, Ron Neighbors of San Francisco, Calif.; step-sons and step-daughter-in-law, John Lancaster of Hogansville and Burl and Louise Lancaster of LaGrange; sister and brother- in law, Corene and Charles Morrison of Smyrna; granddaughter and her husband, Michelle and Jeff Harman of Douglasville; great-granddaughters, Zoe Harman and Sophie Harman; step-grandchildren, A.J. Lancaster, Joey Lancaster, Jerry Lancaster, Gerald Lancaster, Kelley Brasher, and Amy Thompson; and several step-great-grandchil- dren. The Claude A. Mrs. Margaret Smoot April 17, 1919 - July 2, 2003 Mrs. Margaret Smoot, 84, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service was conducted at four p.m., Thursday, July 3, in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jimmy Pruitt officiated and interment was in the Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Great-grandsons served as pallbearers. Born April 17, 1919, in Heard County, Mrs. Smoot was the daughter of the late Pinkney and Carrie Walls Teal. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was retired from Uniroyal, Inc., and was the wife of the late Arthur Smoot. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Hogansville, where she served as church pianist for many years, was a former Sunday School teacher, and was a member of the Carrie Teal Circle. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen and Roger Parham of Hogansville and Sherry Edge of Morrow; a son and daughter-in-law, Lanny and Sondra Medley of FlorenCe, Ala.; one sister, Eris Barrow of Hogansville; eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fannie Guy Allen November 19, 1913 - July 2, 2003 Mrs. Fannie Guy Allen, 89, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at her home. The funeral service was conducted at 4 p.m., Friday, July 4, in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Elder J. D. Morris and Elder Bailey Wilson officiated and interment was in Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Hogansville. Pallbearers were James Allen, Kevin Allen, Nick BaRes, Joshua Smith, Dustin Smith, Mark Stroud, Ricky Nelson, and; Whitten. Mrs. Allen was born November 19, in Tallapoosa County, Ala., daughter ' late Hillary and Minnie Brand Guy. in Troup County most of her life, was ber of the Baptist Church, and was from the Hillside Division of Company. She was wife of the late Fred Allen. Survivors include three dau son-in-law, Flora Walters of LaGrange, Smith of Wetumpka, Ala., and Pete Maxwell of Hogansville; two daughters-in-law, James and Hogansville and Billy Wayne and Allen o LaGrange; three brothers and Warren Guy, both of LaGran Guy of Newnan; 15 grandchildren; 32 grandchildren; and 4 dren. TheClaudeA Home of Hogansville was in arrangements. Thomas Owen March 28, 1925 - July 2, 2003 Thomas Owen Rainwater. Douglasville, died Wednesday, He was born March 28, 1925, of the late James O. And Lucile Mr. Rainwater was a retired U.S. veteran and Group Tooling Lockheed Aircraft Corp. He was a of Bright Star United Methodist a member of the Masonic Lod and Mrs. Rainwater were former of Hogansville. Survivors include a wife Rainwater; son and daug and Kathy Rainwater; grandchildren and Monica Rainwater and Nathan Solomon; and two dren, all of Douglasville. 5, 2003 at 2 p.m. In the Rosehaven with Reverend Kevin Lobello and Newman officiating with interment at Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
