The ideal candidate will work coUaboratively with teachers,
assistants, on-site therapist and cottage life personnel to pro-
vide academic and behavior management experiences con-
sistent with the needs of "at risk" youth; will supervise
teachers and teacher assistants, serve as one of the class-
room teaching staff in staff absence, implement a vocational
education program, maintain FY budget, including Title I
and coordinate necessary data for education department to
maintain DOE approval and GAC accreditation.
The Education Coordinator will work half time at the
LaGrange Campus and half time at the Columbus Campus.
Qualifications
1. M.SJM. Ed./Ed. S. degree.
2. Minimum two years teaching experience, preferably in a
special education setting.
3. Hold a valid Georgia teaching certificate in special educa-
tion, with emphasis on Behavioral Disorders, Learning
Disabilities, Mental Retardation or Severely Emotionally
disturbed.
4. Two (2) years supervisory experience.
