Several people took part in
the program at 11 a.m. on
Sunday, August 15 in the cele-
bration of Pastor Appreciation
Day. We all love our Pastor and
his family and we appreciate
all they have accomplished
since they have been with us.
Congratulations to Jimmy
Lee and Heather Whitehead
who were married at Antioch
Church on Saturday, August 7
at 2 p.m.
Those who are planning to
work with the A.W.A.N.A. pro-
gram this year will be meeting
soon to make the final plans and
set a date to start the program.
This program is for all young
people age 3 years through 18.
Continue to pray for the sick
and shut-ins in our comnmnity,
and also for those who do not
have a church home. We invite
them to come and worship with
us at Antioch.
Homecoming Day, Sunday,
August 15 was a great day at
Antioch. Many former mem-
bers and friends came for the
services. At noon we enjoyed a
delicious covered dish dinner.
Several singing groups were
there for the singing in the
afternoon.
The revival started with the
evening service at 6 p.m. with
Bro. Tommy Crider doing the
preaching. Bro. Ken Trivette
joined him on Monday night.
We had a great preaching and
good singing each night
through August 19. We were
