Gay, 68, of LaGrange, died September 2 at his home. The funeral service was conducted September 4 at the graveside in Pine Mountain Cemetery, with the Reverend Aaron McCullough officiating. Mr. Gay was born August 16, 1932 in Roanoke, Alabama, son of the late Mose and Hattie Freeman Gay. He lived in LaGrange most of his life and was a retired diesel mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Gay of LaGrange; one daughter, Ms. Christie Gay, also of LaGrange; three sons, Curtis Gay, Jr. of Calhoun, Michael Gay and David Gay, both of LaGrange; one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Railey of Mountville; three brothers, Derl Gay of LaGrange, Herschel Gay of Pine Mountain, and Wayne Gay of Greenville; and three grandchildren. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements. Alfred Washington Nov. 29.1921-Sept. 4,2000 Luthersville Alfred (George) Washington, 67, of Luthersville, died September 4 at Emory Peachtree Regional Hospital in Newnan. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 8 in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Powers Witcher will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery, Mr. Washington was born November 29, 1921 in Meriwether County, son of the late Lewis and Gertrude Carter Washington. He was a lifelong resident of Meriwether County, was a member of the Baptist faith, and was retired from William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Jean Washington of Luthersville; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Jean Spratlin of Grantville and Miss Lori Denise Washington of Luthersville; one son, Donney Washington of Luthersville; one sister, Mrs. Mary Helen McCoy of Greenville; one brother, Howard Washington of Norfolk,Virginia; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchil- dren. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Cliff Faulkner, Sr. July 15, 1915 - Sept. 2, 2000 Hogansville - Cliff Faulkner, Sr., 85, of Hogansville, died September 2 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service was conducted September 4 in the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Rufus Thornton and the Reverend Ricky Pursley officiated and interment was in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. Mr. Faulkner was born July 15, 1915 in Cullman, Alabama, son of the late Tom and Emma Skinner Faulkner. He lived in Heard County before making his home in Troup County in 1970, was a retired pulpwood pro- ducer, and was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emmie Screws Faulkner of Hogansville; one son, Clifford Faulkner, Jr. of LaGrange; one daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Siggers of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Mrs. Kathy Denney of Hogansville, Wayne Siggers of LaGrange, Mrs. Brenda Gilbert and Eddie Siggers, both of Louisville, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Debbie L. Harris July 7, 1912 - Sept. 2, 2000 Carrollton - Mrs. Debbie Lillie Harris, 88, of Carrollton, died September 2 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Funeral services were held at Jones Funeral Home September 4 with the Reverend Tom Shannon officiating. Interment was at Hill Cemetery in Newnan. Mrs. Harris was born in 7, 1912, daughter of the late William Pearlie Perry. Prior to moving to Mrs. Harris lived in Hogansville where was a member of the Antioch Church for more than twenty homemaker and loving wife to Mr. Harris for over 62 years, she will be remembered by her friends as a gardener and wonderful cook. She is survived by her husband Harris of Carrollton; a son and dau in-law, William and Leslie Carrollton; a daughter, Mrs. Sara Bishop of Locust Grove; five dren; six great grandchildren. Jones Funeral Home was in arrangements. Mrs. Barbara Wright Oct. 23, 1939 - Sept. 4, 2000 Hogansville Mrs. Barbara Wright, 60, of Hogansville, 4 at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral ice was conducted September 6 Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Funeral Home in Hogansville. Reverend Wesley Boatman interment was in Myrtle Hill Hogansville. Pallbearers were Williams, Donald Neese, Wayne Dennis Gaddy, Scott Bonner, Wright. Mrs. Wright was born October 23, in Hogansville, daughter of the and Effie Hubbard Allen. She was a lon$esident of Hogansville and member of Antioch Baptist Church she taught Sunday School for many Survivors include her husband, Wright of Hogansville; two Christopher of Hogansville; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence of Manchester and Mrs. Wright of Hogansville; one Bobby Lee Cole of Tulsa, ( four grandchildren.
