Hosting the event was Rev. Willis's Sunday School class. The many guests enjoyed delicious refresh- ments. The honoree received many useful and beauti- ful gifts. THOSE FUN-LOVING CRITTERS - Dr. and Mrs. JoeAImand hosted a lunch for the Social Critters of Antioch Baptist Church. Some 30 to 40 Critters arrayed Hawaiian style, attend- ed in full style grass skirts, bold blouses and shirts, leis for arms, neck and ankles. The group enjoyed fun game competition, male versus female, and believe me you didn't have to go swimming to get wet. The group enjoyed a meal of fresh fish and all the trimmings along with several kinds of pies and cake for dessert. We really appreciate Dr. Joe, Doris and the ones who did the catering. First Baptist Fall Revival Begins This Sunday By BRYAN GETER The Hogansville First Baptist Church will hold its "Fall Revival" beginning on Sunday, September 22 at 11 a.m. through Wednesday. Each night the services will be at 7 p.m. The guest evangelist for the revival will be Dr. Paul Detufi, who accepLed Jeu as his Lord and Savior in 1968 at the Corinth Baptist Church near Hogansville. Dennis was born on April 8, 1960 and married Sandra Faye Hyde in 1988. he and his wife has three children, Andrew, Ruth and Mary. They reside in Newnan. Dennis was licensed to the Gospel ministry by the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church in Millen, Ga. in 1985 and ordained by Unity Baptistin Newnan the same year. He graduated from University of georgia in 1982. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1985-87 and Dennis received his master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary in 1993 and the Doctor of Theology from Southern Bible Institute in 1997. Dennis was the Minister of Youth at Southway Baptist church in Fort Worth, Texas from 1986-87; ministry of Youth/Associate Pastor, at Unity Baptist Church in Newnan from 1987-88; pastor of Gardi Baptist church in Jesup Georgia fromk 1988- 91. Dennis hobbies are fish- ing, hunting and sports.
