Church Member, Longtime Resident
Ruby Robinson Spence, 82, of
Hogansville, died Monday, September 22, at
West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
The funeral service was held Wednesday,
Sept. 24 in the Chapel of the Claude A.
McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in
Hogansville. The Rev. Derrick Smith and Rev.
Randall Hodge officiated, interment followed
in the Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Pallbearers were Robert Pilgrim, Norman
Smith, Mallory Smith, Harold Robinson,
Hassell Robinson, Charles Robinson, Elliott
Robinson, and Robbie Robinson.
Mrs. Spence was born December 4, 1920,
in Randolph county, Alabama, daughter of
the late Henry Albert Robinson and the late
Beulah Roberts Robinson. A resident of
Hogansville most of her life, she was a for-
mer resident of Atlanta and retired from tile
purchasing department of Georgia Institute
of Technology. She was a member of the
Hogansville Church of God and was the wife
of the late H. Johnson Spence.
Survivors include two daughters and a
son-in-law, Denise Spence of Hogansville and
Marinell and Robert Pilgrim of Stone
Mountain; one sister, Mary Robinson of
Hogansville; one brother, Leonard (Doe)
Robinson, also of Hogansville; two grand-
daughters, Jennifer Morkis of Seattle, Wash.,
and Jamie Pilgrim of "Ihcker; and one great-
grandson, Patrick Morkis.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons
Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge
of arrangements.

Beall family were Ruth Richardson, Marcell Haltoway
and Frances Robinson of Hogansville.
