Wednesday was opening
day for Greenville's first-
ever traditional fair with a
carnival.
Davie, Fla.-based Jon
Luehrs' Spectacular
Attractions arrived earlier
this week and began setting
up its rides, games and con-
cessions, despite Monday's
torrential rains.
The fair was set to open
at 5 p.m. Wednesday and con-
tinues through Saturday
night.
No doubt crowds will be
heaviest after dark, when the
thousands of lights on the
rides bring the fair to life.
Organized by the
Greenville Lions Club, the
Greenville Fall Festival will
offer four days of rides, food,
crafts and fun.
