Mrs. Beulah H. Stemmler
June 8, 1908 - October 28, 1999
Mrs. Beulah H. Stemmler, age 91, of Hogansville, and a for-
mer resident of Syracuse, New York, died Thursday, October 28,
1999 at her home.
The funeral service was conducted on Monday at I p.m. in the
chapel of Frasier-Sherpardson Funeral Home in Syracuse with
interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Stemmler was born June 8, 1908 in North Bangor, New
York, the daughter of the late Amos and Della McGregor Hapgood.
Before making her home in Hogansville in 1997, she lived in
Syracuse for fifty years and was a retired junior high school edu-
cation teacher. Mrs. Stemmler was a graduate of Potsdan College
in Potsdan, New York and Syracuse University and was a mem-
ber of the Retired Teachers Association. She was a member and
longtime Sunday School teacher of Gethsemane United Methodist
Church in Syracuse and was the wife of the late William George
Stemmler.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Jean
Demarrais of Hogansville; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and
Janet Stemmler of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Ron and Amy
Demarrais of Lawrenceville, Danette and Todd Sharp of Keunesaw,
Nancy and Stephen Durkee of Burbank,California, and Bill
Stemmler Jr. of Syracuse; and five great-grandchildren, Jacque
Demarrais, Craig Demarrais, Kalin Demarrais, Sean Dillard, and
Ethan Durkee.
Mrs. Cleo Hayes Barnes
January 28, 1913 - October 23, 1999
Mrs. Cleo Hayes Barnes, age 86, of Hogansville, died Saturday,
October 23,1999, at Emory Peachtree Regional Hospital in Newnan.
The funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. October 27 in
the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in
Hogansville. Reverend R. C. Prescott officiated and interment
was in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Mrs. Barnes was born January 28, 1913 in Greene County, the
daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Honea Hayes. She had lived
in Hogansville since 1932, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church
in Hogansville and retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after 32 years of
service. She was the wife of the late Columbus B. (Red) Barnes.
Survivors include one son, Charles Barnes of Hogansville; one
sister, Augusta Morrow of College Park; thirteen grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren; and fourteen great-great-grandchil-
dren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Melvin Barnes and
Clarence Barnes, and an infant daughter.

Frank Todd, age 86, of Clayton, and a former
Hogansville, died October 20, 1999 at Angel
in Franklin, North Carolina.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. October 27

Hogansville. Dr. Jimmy Brown officiated and interment
Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.

Todd was born July 18,1913 in Hogansville, son of the
Henry and Janie Daniel Todd. Before making his home

John David Camp, age 39, of Decatur, died Tuesday,

Hope United Methodist Church in Meriwether County.

Cash M.Stanley, Jr. age 88, of Macon, died
October 27, 1999 at Macon Northside Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m.

Christopher Miller, Jonathan Miller and Dr. Bill Acton.
Stanley was born January 2, 1911 in Birmingham,
the son of the late Martha Greet Stanley and the late
Miller Stanley. He was a 1933 graduate of Auburn
and was a retired printing and textile engineer. He was an
veteran of WWII, having served in the Battle of the Bulge
General George Patton, and retired as a Major from the
Reserves. He was a member of St. Simons on the Sound
Church in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Stanley
since 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Terrell Stanley of
three sons and two daughters-in-law, Cash M. Stanley, III
Terrell and Joy Stanley, all of Macon, and David and
Stanley of Marietta; one sister, Louie Ashley of Mont
Alabama; and five grandchildren, Ren Stanley, Katie
Will Stanley, Christopher Miller, and Jonathan Miller. He
preceded in death by a sister, Lfla Beaton of Atlanta.
Mrs. Lou Ella Elder
September 11, 1911 - October 29, 1999
Mrs. Lou Ella Eider, age 88, of Grantville,
