I I Troup County originally had in its contract for Hogansville and West Point to have two members each on the board, but came back later stating both Hogansville and West Point have only one each. The City of Hogansville strongly opposed: ideas- saying if the one member from Hogansville gabsent from a meeting, then there would be no voice from the city. LaGrange and Troup County will have four each serving on the board. St Clair said either we will have two members not one on the board or we will con- test the plan. The council also voted for Stankiewicz and Hines to serve on the Hogansville Planning and Zoning Board when the "slots' come open. The council voted unani- mously to accept the retire- ment plan with Georgia Municipal Association (GMA). Aldrich said the IRS reg- ulations to meet criteria has been met by the GMA. "They recommend that a employee that is vested then leaves the company passes away befcre age," Aldrich stated receive retirement benefits , he or his widow(er)." i Mayor St. Clair said he had read the plan and a good one.
