SUCCESS- The Hogansville Optimist
Club sponsored their annual Turkey Shoot
on November 23rd at the Hogansville Golf
Club Range. The turnout was great and
the weather cooperated.

BIG DAY- Mrs. Margie Gordon was hon-
ored for her 75th birthday on Saturday,
November 30th along with her daughter,
Kay Pellicer on her 50th and her grand-
daughter, Christine Weygant on her 25th.
Many family and friends attended the cel-
ebration at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ken
Gordon, Lone Oak.

prayer, reading of minutes

The ladies were remind-
ed that the shoe boxes are due
now and to send
Thanksgiving cards to the
shut-ins assigned to them.
Also during the business
meeting, decorations for the

Banquet December 4 at the
church were discussed and
plans made.

,January, 2003 meeting are

Stephens. The meeting will
be held at the home of Mrs.
Helen Stephens.

Lottie Moon. December 240 is
the Week of Prayer for

quct, there will be no General
WMU nor Betty Carpenter
