A Cecil Taylor Trammell Aug. 18, 1917 - Dec. 6, 2011 Lover of Cooking and Interior Decorating Cecil Taylor Trammel1, 94, of Luthersville, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Southland Health and Rehabilitation Center in Peachtree City. The funeral service was conducted Friday, Dec. 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. Daniel Ausbun, Rev. Winston Skinner, Dr. Bob Trammell, and her daughter Johnnie Ann Stivers officiated and interment was in the Luthersville Cemetery. Born Aug. 18, 1917, in Franklin, Mrs. Trammel1 was the daughter of the late Dr. Enoch Joseph Taylor and the late Onie Persons Taylor. She moved from Franklin to Hogansville at an early age and was a 1934 graduate of Hogansville High School. She lived in Meriwether County most of her life, was a longtime member of Luthersville Baptist Church, and had been a member of First BaptiSt Church of Moreland since 2006. She was the wife of the late John M. Trammel1 and enjoyed cooking and interior decorating. In the late 1940's and early 1950% Mrs. Trammell spearheaded the drives to bring Rural Electrification Administration service and the original telephone service to Luthersville. Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Johnnie Ann Stivers of Mart, TX, Glynis and Michael Massengale of Ft. Payee, AL; sons and daughters in-law, Douglas and Marie Tcamme11 of Hixson, TN, Charles and Mollie Trammell of Luthersville; sister, Novelle Copeland of LaFayette; 15 grand- children; and 26 great-grandchildren. Daniel, Sr. Aug. 4, 1933 - Nov. 14, 2011 U.S. Navy Veteran Aubrey L. Daniel, Sr., 78, of HogansviUe, died Monday, Nov. 14, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jim Massa and the Reverend Joseph Bonner officiated and interment was held in Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Hogansville. Mr. Daniel was born Aug. 4, 1933, in the St. Marks Community, son of the late Garnett and I.ala Mac Murphy Daniel. A lifelong res- ident of Hogansville, he attended HogansviUe schools and was a veteran of service in the U. S. Navy. He was a former Hogansvflle policeman, was a volunteer fireman for many years, and retired from Uniroyal, Inc. after 19 years of service. Survivors include his daughters, Gayla Prince of Ecuador, Tanya Norwood of Franklin, Faye Daniel of Hogansville; sons, Vance Ben of Glenn, Lee Daniel, David Daniel, and Darrell Daniel, all of Hogansville; broth- er, Robert Daniel, also of Hogansville; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A resident of Hogansville since 1943, she was employed by Uniroyal, Inc. for many years, and was a member of Family Worship Center in HogansviUe. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Bonnie and Erven Chisenhall of McDonough; daughter in-law, Diane Evans of Hogansville; four grandchildren, Barry and Leisa Chisenhall of McDonough, Amy and Sidney Hinton of Raleigh, NC, Ronnie and Becky Evans of Spartanburg, SC, Kenneth Gloria Evans of Jackson, TN; eleven great- grandchildren; and a great-great-grand- daughter.
