recently completed basic training at Marine
Mrs. Martha C. Massengale
Feb. 22, 1916 - Dec. 11, 2002
Mrs. Martha Chappell Massengale, 86, of
Greenville, died December 1 lth at her home.
The funeral service was conducted December
13th at the graveside in the Greenville
Cemetery with the Reverend Jonathan Porter
officiating.
Mrs. Massengale was born February 22,
1916 in Coweta County, daughter of the late
Aaron and Lucy Wilson Chappell. She lived
in Meriwether County most of her life, was
a member of Union Baptist Church in the St.
Marks Community, and was retired from West"
Point Pepperell Manufacturing Co. in
Harper is a 2001 graduate of Jacksonvilla
High School of Jacksonville, Texas.
