By Bryan Geter The Callaway Cavaliers lost a heart-breaker to the AAA Harris County Tigers in the open- ing round of the Greenville Christmas Tournament Friday night in Greenville, 55-51. The CAVS led by 24-19 at the half but cooled off in the third quarter as the pesky Tigers outscored the Cavaliers 25-6 in the period. Harris County built a 44-,:;() lead going into the fourth qua," ter, but Callaway got hot again and scored 12 unanswered points in the first three minutes to pull within 2 points, 44-42. After a Tiger press, tile CAVS began turning the ball over and failed to pull out the win. Harris County Outlasts Callaway Lady Cavaliers By Bryan Geter The Harris County Lady Tigers defeated the Callaway Lady Cavaliers Saturday night at the Greenville Christmas Tournament, 59-44 for the Lady CAVS first lost of the sea- son. Callaway is now 6-1 after defeating Manchester Monday in the consolation game. Coach Angela Richardson said Harris County just out- hustled us and that was the dif- ference in the game.
